are there any free sites besides craigslist on the internet to sell my car?

Augustus Sarria: Besides Craigslist? It is the best free site. If you have tried there and failed, it's not their fault. I buy and sell cars all the time there and I don't live in a big city (not a dealer, just a hobby). I have bought and sold many to people living 150 to 200 miles away. Check your asking price by going to the library and ask for NADA book to look it up. Private sellers do not usually get retail; just wholesale IF they are in good shape. Check mileage (it's in the book). Online books are not complete or very accurate. They sell those books for over $100 and they aren't going to give that info away for free. List with pictures. People who don't list pictures, either on Craigslist or Ebay get little to no results. People looking for a trade go to Craigslist first (local listings and big selection, lower prices than Ebay). Be prepared to not get top dollar on a trade. Someone is usually not getting exactly what they want on a trade, and it's usually the othe! r guy. If you have a desirable collectible (like a Ferrari), then consider Ebay or one of the other sites....Show more

Carlee Tangaro: Hi Angel,Yes - absolutely you can! There are a few to choose from, but my husband and I own a free classified ad website that sells TONS of cars every day (as well as a lot of other cool and interesting stuff too, like home, and boats, and businesses, and crafts, etc. stuff too!).We are a family-friendly free classified ad company and we offer a nice advertising environment - no sleazy ads or rude attitudes like you can sometimes get on CL.Please feel free to click on our link below and post as many free classified ads as you like! Thanks, Mandy (AKA Mrs. Klipper!)...Show more

Mee Blumenfeld: Try Kijiji! It's totally free and seems to generate as much, if not more traffic than Craigslist! It's easy to use and allows you to post pictures and an e-mail address for con! tact as opposed to leaving your personal phone number! Good lu! ck!
