Will at&t charge me if I call an out of state house phone from my cell phone? ?

Providencia Jalbert: If it's a long distance call, you'll be charged for a long distance call. I don't know whether or not the charge will be more from your cell phone than it would if you called from a landline (other than minutes being used on your cell phone), but if you have to dial 1+area code+number, then it's a toll call.

Ninfa Asby: No.

Ira Porietis: a good way to find out what works where you are is to get the cheapest phone on a prepaid plan, because a contract is harder and more expensive than some divorces, Virgin mobile works on the sprint network, get a 10-15 dollar phone (will be basic but reception is usually good) that is a cheap way to find out if sprint works for you, also in cleveland tracphone (which is about 10 bux for a phone 2 months and 20 minutes) is a way to find out if att cingular works where you are, you could get those at walmart. that 30 day bs the phone company isnt necessarily accurate, they string you along past the 30 days a! nd tell you tough, verizon also has a prepaid plan would cost about the same when you find out who gives YOU the best service you can switch and then get a regular plan if you want a contract, sometimes if you buy a phone on ebay for your carrier you may not have to get a 2 year contract...Show more

Eleni Mccier: You get charged the minutes just like normal. There's no difference between cell-phone to house phone (or any land line) and cell-phone to cell-phone charges. If you have the unlimited nights-and-weekends plan, then you don't get charged minutes at night and on the weekends...

Maritza Ebanks: No definetly not, i have AT&T and call more house phones than cell phones.

Raul Lushbaugh: No, not unless your plan is from 10 years ago. All the cell phone providers include both local, and long distance nationwide calling to any phone, cell or house. The only extra charges you would incur would be from going over your minutes, or calling outside of the ! USA.
