Raul Lushbaugh: Hi Erin,I am using the TIVO wireless adapter on my old Series 2 TIVO and I am wired with my new Series 3 TIVO.First the transfer speed - it seems like the wireless is slower but not enough to be concerned about. It takes quite a while to transfer a two hour movie but it is minutes not hours.If you have a series 2 TIVO you can transfer programs to your computer and then record them to DVD.The Series 3 TIVO can not do that yet. (TIVO is waiting approval from the piracy cops (Cable Labs)). If you want to transfer programs from the Series 3 you have to hook it to the computer and copy them in real time.
