Chris Rosenkranz: totally
Hermina Ketring: I'm guessing you're going to NZ, not Perth?Kiwis are hugely into fitness (well, some of us) - you can take great advantage of the outdoorsy lifestyle and get into mountain-biking, climbing, tramping, caving, surfing, windsurfing, or if it's straight fitness you should definitely go to Les Mills (syndicated gym). It's a bit on the pretentious side sometimes, but it's very very good. Thousands of gyms worldwide pay top dollar for permission to use their fitness programs. If you DID want to go to Perth, firstly it's full of Kiwis. Secondly, fitness first teaches the Les Mills classes. Jorge Detlefs: What has this got to do with Perth?
Hope Lundmark: I've rarely seen more sports-obsessed people than here in NZ, and they are very fit. But most seem to be that way because they do things like rowing, hiking, walking huge distances daily, working in the garden like mad, playing Ruby, or cycling. There are gyms, of course. But what for when you can do all those things out in a landscape that really beats staring at a reflection in a 2x2 mirror?Any NZ-city will do....Show more
