Cassidy Pangrazio: electric means only building one new distribution system.
Imogene Neiswander: Mike- That is exactly what I am talking about. We can use methane for trucks, solar and electricity for small cars and hydrogen for bigger cars.
Hye Caulley: Too volatile and unstable. Also handling issues. Propane is a better option. Electric will not work because unless we go to nuclear power for the entire nation we would burn more fossil fuels than the benefits from said cars....Show more
Dulcie Edis: If it was economically feasible, that is, if people would buy them, then it would be done.
Oswaldo Rayburn: Methane powered vehicles are very slow when it comes to acceleration. It is great in industrial trucks, but not great for automobiles.
Queenie Ruthers: I think we should - methane is certainly something we have no shortage of. I am reminded of this every time I ride in an elevator.I also think we could kill two birds with one stone by giv! ing every obese citizen an electrical generator attached to an exercise bike. Get people slim, and generate electricity from the stored energy in body fat, all at once! I'm serious!...Show more
Booker Warlick: There is no political will to reduce oil consumption. There are many viable alternatives to oil powered vehicles however the oil and car manufacturing giants are in bed together and will do everything in their power to remain the elitist operators of the global economy. If you have an hour to spare watch the documentary "who killed the electric car". It'll give you some background as to why we are at a stalemate with regard to renewable energies and also give you some ideas of where to find more info. Good luck...Show more
Todd Stogner: Well, they produced some vehicles, still out there, that use natural gas and propane. The problem with those two are the dangers of explosion.Gasoline is the single easiest and most efficient way to power cars at this time.!
